Lack of updates

Posted by Craig on 10/01/2008
I apologize for the lack of updates lately - I'm going to try to change that.

I'm going to aim for shorter, quicker updates in the future. I started this blog pretty good with that, and not sure what happened from there.

Lately, I've been pretty busy with my new internship, working four days a week. Classes are going well and they've kept me busy, too. Had my first grad school presentation last night, and that went good, so I'm gaining some more confidence as this process goes on. I'll say one thing - it's not easy to go to a new school and practically start a new life. But I think overall, I've been dealing with that pretty well.

I'm really looking forward to the VP debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden tomorrow because we're going to watch it in class and write a story about it. And the Cubs play tonight and the whole city has gone crazy with that, so I may tune in.

That's it for now. And while I start updating more, I'd appreciate more comments too! I know people are reading this, thanks to stats from Google Analytics, so why not leave a comment? Be my guest! And if you choose not to, that's OK too. Thanks for stopping by.

hey craig! glad to hear things are going smoothly for you... and how exciting to be in a city with a team in the mlb playoffs!

it has to be hard to fully adjust to your new enviornment and so many strangers.. but i know you will be fine, keep making friends and remember how much this experience will benefit you in the long run.

keep up the great work! love to hear about your latest... thanks for the updates!

thanks Melissa :) I was happy to get your comment! I appreciate the advice. It can be tough at times, but you're right on, I'll try to keep things in perspective.

Miss you and love you too. Say hi to everyone for me!

Craig...Glad to hear things are coming along for you. Remember, it
had been an adjustment for you when you first started your undergrad work, new surroundings, unfamiliar faces, etc. but you quickly adjusted as you will do now. Also, good words to live by, "the more you put into everything, the more you will get out of it." And, you are demonstrating this once again through your internship, etc.
We are here for you and behind you, never forget that!! And as Melissa stated, "remember how much this experience will benefit you in the long run." I believe that one experience in life can lay the foundation for the next.

Keep the updates coming as we will also...

Miss you and love you!
